Pronti per Cambridge

Ready for Cambridge Programs

Our unique “Pronti per Cambridge” program was developed to meet the needs of very young English language learners. It is offered in our Language and Cultural Centres to children aged between 3 and 5 years of age and also to local Day-care and Kindergarten Centres in each region.

The direct method language learning methodology focuses on teaching the first 1,000 words of the Cambridge English Pre-A1 vocabulary list through song, dance, book readings and fun!

The aim of our Pronti per Cambridge program is to ensure our young English learners are fully prepared and equipped with enough English vocabulary to be ready to begin their formal English language learning when they start school.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Parents can either enrol their young children in one of the Pronti per Cambridge Programs at our local Language and Cultural Centre or they can discuss our program with their local Day-care or Kindergarten and encourage them to partner with us to deliver our Pronti per Cambridge Program at their location.

Our native / mother-tongue English speakers are fully trained to deliver our Program and have the necessary police checks and clearances to work with young children and within day-care and kindergarten centres.

LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL CENTRE PROGRAM

By enrolling directly at one of our Language and Cultural Centres our Young Learners can join a group of other Young Learners, maximum of 5 students per group, and enjoy a weekly hour of fun-filled full English Immersion.

The program is structured to follow the Pre-A1 Cambridge Vocabulary List and at the beginning of each program parents receive a list of the vocabulary taught in the program.

Children receive a Pronti per Cambridge arts folder to store their weekly colouring and activity sheets.

Parents get access to our exclusive online Pronti per Cambridge resource centre to download all the songs, games, worksheets, colouring sheets and pronunciation guides to be able to encourage the use of English within the home.

Depending on the Centre’s specific requirements we can either visit the centre once or twice a week to deliver the program or we can provide a part-time native / mother-tongue English speaker to work in the Centre 4 or 5 mornings per week.

We strive to create an immersive experience at the Centres by not only delivering our program in English but by working with the Teachers and Care-givers at the Centres to bring English into their everyday routines.

Our partners fully embrace the program and begin to promote their Centres as bi-lingual Day-cares and Kindergartens, meaning the children will play, learn and interact in both Italian and English on a daily basis.

There are a number of options available to our Day-care and Kindergarten Partners:

To simply engage us to deliver the program at an agreed time, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.

To contract with us to deliver a part-time program whereby we provide a native / mother-tongue English speaker to work part-time at the Centre and not only provide the Pronti per Cambridge Program but to also assist the Teachers and Care-givers and interact with the children in English during morning or afternoon activities.

We can provide full training to the Centres and their Teachers and Care-givers to deliver our Pronti per Cambridge Program and work with the Centre to create a true bilingual environment where children can be fully immersed in English.
